This video handles the Taming the Beast quest chain from the point just just before Thotar provides you with a taming Rod for a Dire Mottled Boar in Razor Hill. Thotar offers you a number of three taming rods, each differs and lets you tame beasts in the following order: Dire Mottled Boar, Surf Crawler and eventually an Armored Scorpid.

When you have completed the taming Section of the Quest chain, you need to head to Orgrimmar and talk to Ormak Grimshot inside the Valley of Honor more info here so that you can unlock your pet handling capabilities: Tame Beast; Feed Pet; Revive Pet; and Beast Training.

Lastly, do not forget to go to the Pet Trainer and get the Pet abilities that you need to give to your companion pet.
